Karma

Hair that hasn't seen a shower
Since the Tuesday before last,
Shredded shirt and laceless once-white sneakers,
Eyes with one last glimmer of desperation,
Pocket change
Clanging in the bottom of an Folger's can
Is heaven to him.

Heading home from work,
Mercedes Benz,
Leather shoes,
and thoughts of yet another day at the office.
He sees him
Standing there.

A fifty dollar bill
Folded neatly in the chaotic coffee can
In exchange for three words
And eyes with a lttle bit more hope,
'Believe in karma'.

Okay, so first off i absolutely love the first 2 lines! I think it is the perfect way to explain this peson. I also like that you use a folger's can for pocket change. It gives very good detail. But

"Clanging in the bottom of an Folger's can
Is heaven to him."
It should be a Folger's can, i think.

I love the contrast in the middle of the "rich kid", and the ending is great. i love the idea of believe in karma in this piece!
